Shot a creative last week with the talented Natalie Jantzi. I’m just going to come out and say it… I love sun flare.
And here’s a few BTS shots from my assistant.
Check back tomorrow for the first of a new series I have been working on for the last couple months.
I’ve made it my goal to try and get out of the city more. When I lived in Alberta, I made it to the mountains almost weekly, but since I moved to Toronto 3 years ago, I can count on one hand how many hikes I have been on. It is a great way to calm down, reset, and make some pretty pictures.
This weekend I made it out to Bronte Creek Provincial Park, it was a beautiful little walk through the forest. We were there to make a photo for a new series I am working on (more on that in the coming weeks) but here are some of the photos I took along the way.
I am always amazed by the landscape that this province has to offer, a week on Georgian Bay has made me want to just pack myself into a car and drive all over Ontario taking pictures along the way.
I was lucky enough to be able to get out for a bit of a paddle on the bay, it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, except as it turns out for my dog, who is not exactly a fan of canoeing
You may notice things look a little empty around here, Format has recently started offering a blogging platform right in the site, so in the interest of keeping everything clean and easy for you my blog will now just be an extension of my site. I will be posting about the last year of updates from my previous blog but if you want to see more just head on over to my old Tumblr
I spent the better part of last week up around Georgian Bay, I was amazed by how beautiful it is up there, I can’t wait to have the chance to go back and explore a little more.
These two shots were taken a day apart on the beach of the cottage where I was staying. Keep an eye on the blog this week as there is going to be more shots from my adventure up north and some other exciting news!
